Tooth Fairy Charm Bracelets

Tooth Fairy Charm Bracelet

I knew pretty early on that I wanted to do something other than money for the Tooth Fairy. I can't remember exactly when it was that I decided to do charm bracelets, but I've been collecting charms since well before Madeline lost her front tooth. I had a great reaction when I posted a picture of Pippi's charm bracelet on Instagram, and thought I'd share a little bit about our Tooth Fairy Charm Bracelets for the girls. **This post contains affiliate links.** I made the bracelets myself out of ... 2015 Goals

It felt like we spent all of December being sick. It was frustrating to not be able to go and do all of the things we had planned initially, but it turned into a nice, relaxing holiday for us. The relaxing part actually included quite a lot of housework. We have donation places who will come to our neighborhood for pick-up, so we're able to put everything out in the driveway on the scheduled morning and they will come haul it away. We're really spoiled with this system. I get ... Read More

Kids’ Snowy Terrarium Craft

Kids' Snowy Terrarium Craft

There's nothing I love more than making crafts with the girls. I have looked forward to them being old enough to craft me since before they were born. I had visions of afternoons with cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas movies, and crafts. We've had a few more cookies than crafts this year, but we have managed to make a few things together. My favorite so far this year is the Kids' Snowy Terrarium Craft we made together. I've been obsessed with miniatures and terrariums for ages. It's ... Read More

Santa’s Belt Buckle Decoration

Santa's Belt Buckle Decoration

We can never have enough Christmas decorations. It doesn't matter how much I put out--the girls want more. I don't blame them. It's such a fun season to decorate for and I think it makes the house feel cozy. I love making something and surprising them with it. They always notice the new thing and I love the squeals of delight. It doesn't matter how easy the project was. They always love it. This Santa's Belt Buckle Decoration took no time at all, but is so fun and whimsical and can be ... Read More

Madeline’s Halloween Crafting Tea Party

Madeline's Halloween Crafting Tea Party

This post contains sponsored content. I've never felt like I was good at throwing birthday parties, but the girls are getting old enough now that they're asking for parties with friends, so it's time. Madeline turned 7 (!) in October and asked if she could have a tea party, which evolved into a Halloween Crafting Tea Party. When I knew that Madeline wanted to craft, I knew that Oriental Trading was the place to go. Madeline and I looked through the site together and she picked out ... Read More
