**This post is brought to you by I Love to Create and Blueprint Social. The opinions are my own.** I love having my girls home during the summer. There's no stress about school and any schedule we have is completely of our own making. Sometimes, though, the weather just doesn't want to cooperate and it becomes hard to make plans. Rather than waste a day, the girls and I created our own party with a Summer Boredom Buster with Tie Dye. It's so easy to Tie Dye Your Summer with Tulip's One-Step ... Read More

Valentine’s Heart Key Fob
I love Valentine's Day (no pun intended!). I've always thought of it as a kid's holiday, though, so never went in for the overly romantic stuff. I used to love decorating my box for my valentines and it was a big decision to choose just the right cards. It has been a lot of fun to see how Valentine's Day has developed for my girls. They love picking out their cards, but this year they want to do something a bit extra for their best friends. Madeline has been practicing her stitching and we came ... Read More
Tooth Fairy Charm Bracelets
I knew pretty early on that I wanted to do something other than money for the Tooth Fairy. I can't remember exactly when it was that I decided to do charm bracelets, but I've been collecting charms since well before Madeline lost her front tooth. I had a great reaction when I posted a picture of Pippi's charm bracelet on Instagram, and thought I'd share a little bit about our Tooth Fairy Charm Bracelets for the girls. **This post contains affiliate links.** I made the bracelets myself out of ... Merry Christmas!
It has been an absolutely wonderful Christmas here. The girls woke up to discover that Santa had left them each a doll in their beds. I love hearing the squeals as they spot the tree for the first time. I wish I had video of it! Their presents were loved. You know you've done well when they open the first one and immediately want to play with it, completely disregarding that there are any more to open! A breakfast of chocolate croissants, a morning of playing, Christmas movies in the ... Read More
Kids’ Snowy Terrarium Craft
There's nothing I love more than making crafts with the girls. I have looked forward to them being old enough to craft me since before they were born. I had visions of afternoons with cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas movies, and crafts. We've had a few more cookies than crafts this year, but we have managed to make a few things together. My favorite so far this year is the Kids' Snowy Terrarium Craft we made together. I've been obsessed with miniatures and terrariums for ages. It's ... Read More
Easy Coffee Cozy Tutorial for Kids
As my girls are getting older, they're wanting to do more and more crafting. Madeline is especially interested in learning how to stitch. We're hitting hot chocolate season here, and she asked for a coffee cozy. I thought it would be great to come up with a way for her to make her own, and this is the result. This is a super simple cozy, and uses great basic skills for kids to learn. You will need: one piece of felt one piece of fabric (I cut into a fat quarter ... Read More
