September Stitch Fix

September Stitch Fix

There are few things I love more than the transition from summer to fall. I love the colors, the cooler temps that lead to layering, the sheer coziness of clothes...all of it. Stitch Fix must have read my mind with my latest box. My stylist sent me fantastic transitional pieces and I had a lot of fun trying them on. Here's something you may not know about me--I'm a total bag junky. I love purses and pouches and totes. I couldn't tell you how many I have, but I use them all. I've been with ... Read More

Spring Tea Party Styling

Spring Tea Party Styling

Spring is all about skirts and color to me. It's also a great time to play around with my love of pattern mixing. Spring Tea Parties are the best way to bring it all together. I love skirts and colored tights. Black and white stripes can be paired with so much and I think it's just the perfect look for a skirt. I fell in love with this top from the moment I saw it and I think it's a great piece for spring. Fun handmade accessories finish off a fun style for a spring tea ... Read More

March Stitch Fix

March Stitch Fix

One of my favorite days of the month is always the day my Stitch Fix arrives. Whether I keep everything or not, it's always a lot of fun to try on clothes that were chosen just for me. My March Stitch Fix was especially fun for me. The snow is melted and spring is in the air here, so I was good and ready to try on the spring transitional styles my stylist sent me. I wasn't disappointed! This fix screamed spring to me. The first thing I saw when I opened my box was this awesome pair of ... Read More

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Costume

I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When it was on originally, I scheduled classes and work around it. I didn't miss an episode. When Scott and I started dating, I had him watch the whole series. This year, I received two pieces of clothing from Stitch Fix that immediately made me think of Buffy. I wear them in other ways, but I've been really antsy for Halloween so that I could create this Buffy costume from my closet with them. My jacket and pants are both from Stitch Fix. With a simple ... Early Morning Casual

We live close enough to our school that as long as the weather isn't too bad, we walk. I'm not a morning person at all, as anyone who has ever met me for the least amount of time can attest to. We're three weeks into school now and have pretty much gotten our morning routine down, but there isn't a lot of time for me to get ready once I have the girls ready to go. I like being able to throw something on that makes me presentable and I'm comfortable in, hence my early morning casual. I'm ... Read More

August Stitch Fix

@StitchFix jacket, pants, and necklace.

I've been with Stitch Fix for almost two years now, and I still get excited each month when I get my shipping notification. I always sneak a peek at the clothing descriptions and wonder just what each item will actually look like. I never get it right, and that's half the fun for me. This month, I shared my five items on my Facebook page. I love getting other opinions because often people will see something that I don't. I'm more often talked into something than out of it. ;) I'll start ... Read More
